Job description

Delivery of technically sound quantitative models to support wider project delivery.

Author and reviewer of technical evidence‑led reports, including compliance with our quality assurance processes.

Provide timely technical input and expertise to multidisciplinary projects and programmes of work.

You will be degree‑qualified in science, mathematics, or engineering, with postgraduate qualifications and/or experience within the water industry, and either be working towards or already be a chartered member of a relevant professional institution.

You should have some working experience with at least one type of water quality modelling software (e.g. MIKE, Delft3D, Telemac or AEM3D) with demonstrable application in estuarine, marine or coastal systems. This could be in the form of the modelling of physico‑chemical, biological, bacterial or chemical parameters. You will have a basic understanding of physico‑chemical water quality, and the associated regulatory standards for fresh and marine waters.

You should have a basic understanding of coding within programmes such as Python or R. You will also have the necessary skills and experience to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders, where you will be working closely with clients and other professional staff across multidisciplinary business groups.
