Environment and Sustainability Coordinator – Greenwich

An exciting opportunity to join a leading construction contractor with an extensive record of successful operations in the UK, supporting the development strategies of several high-profile clients.

If you're ready to support a collaborative team in day-to-day environment and sustainability tasks, this role may be for you!

Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of environmental policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations across projects
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including regular liaison with the Environment Agency
  • Maintain and support the continued accreditation of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
  • Monitor and report on environmental performance across projects, identifying and driving opportunities for continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • Environment or Sustainability experience within the construction, civils or related sector, or a keen interest in the sector
  • Ideally working knowledge of ISO 14001 and some experience engaging with stakeholders
  • A degree in a relevant environmental subject or a related professional membership (e.g. IEMA/ISEP)
  • A genuine passion for environmental excellence, strong communication skills, and a clear ambition to develop a long-term career in the field
