Job summary

A global insurance organization is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead finance architecture and integration projects. The role involves defining enterprise-level architecture and ensuring compliance and performance across integration landscapes. Ideal candidates will have experience in large-scale transformation within complex organizations, preferably in the insurance sector. This is a hybrid position based in London with a contract duration of 6 months.

Overview

Enterprise Architect - Insurance Sector (Finance / Integration Projects)
Location: London - Hybrid
Contract: 6 Months outside IR35
Day Rate: Competitive

Responsibilities
  • Define and design enterprise-level architecture across finance and integration landscapes.
  • Lead solution design for finance process transformation, ensuring scalability, compliance, and performance.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align architecture with organisational objectives.
  • Provide architectural governance, guidance, and oversight on integration initiatives.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of end-to-end finance systems integration.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven background as an Enterprise Architect within large, complex organisations (ideally in insurance or financial services).
  • Strong expertise in integration projects and large-scale transformation.
  • Hands-on experience in designing new finance architecture.
  • Beneficial: prior experience with Oracle Financials or other major ERP finance platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills.
