Temporary Learning Support Teacher – Petworth, West Sussex

Start 5th January 2026 to 27th March 2026

Our client is an HMC co‑educational boarding and day school that nurtures academic excellence, sporting success and creative talent. The 400‑acre campus on the edge of the South Downs is an area of outstanding beauty.

The College is recruiting for temporary, full time, Learning Support Teachers to start 5th January 2026 for the term to 27th March 2026. They would consider job shares for the right applicants. The role involves teaching students on a one-to‑one basis and in small groups, in their Academic Access and Achievement department. A teacher of English with SEN experience would be considered for this role.

SpLD (Level 5 and higher), Helen Arkell and teaching qualifications are advantageous together with demonstrable experience of teaching Year 9 and above. This role is specifically aimed at working with students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, ADHD, Autism and Specific Learning Difficulties, across the 11‑18 age range.

They are keen to appoint as soon as possible; applications will be considered on a rolling basis when they are received with interviews planned thereafter.
