This is an excellent opening for a proactive QTS English Teacher to join a dedicated department in Preston. Deliver High-Quality Teaching: Create and implement engaging lesson plans for English Language and Literature that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
Track Student Success: Monitor progress through effective assessment and provide constructive feedback to help students reach their GCSE targets.
Manage the Classroom with Confidence: Maintain a focused and positive learning atmosphere using effective behavior management strategies.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the English faculty to ensure a seamless transition of learning and share best practices.
Professionalism: Fully integrate into the school community, adhering to all safeguarding and educational policies.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A mandatory requirement, complemented by a degree in English or a related subject.
Secondary Experience: A proven track record of teaching the English curriculum at KS3 and KS4.
Adaptability: The ability to step into a new classroom and build immediate rapport with students and staff.
Commitment: A genuine desire to drive literacy standards and critical thinking skills.
Compliance: A valid Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or the readiness to apply for one).
Excellent Pay: Competitive daily rates ranging from £150 - £220.
