English Teacher

Are you a Teacher of Key Stage 3 and 4 English interested in an exciting opportunity to start a full‑time role from January 2026? Would you like to work in a very high achieving school in Harrow, North West London?

This role is for a full‑time Key Stage 3 and 4 English teacher, starting on an agency contract or permanent assignment. The school is Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ and has a strong department led by a fantastic Head of Department. A comprehensive mentoring programme and CPD are available for an ECT.

Responsibilities

• Teach Key Stage 3 and 4 English to a class of students.
• Take a year‑long maternity absence teaching English, commencing immediately.
• Share resources and collaborate within a strong department.
• Invest in professional development and progress students’ attainment.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, overseas police checks (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
