Location : Belmont Secondary School, Rawtenstall, BB4 6RX

Salary : £39,000 per annum (dependent on experience, not pro rata)

Hours : 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday

Contract : Permanent | Term Time Only

Start Date : November 2025

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated, energetic and compassionate English Teacher to join our team — someone who’s not afraid to think differently, teach differently, and lead with heart, here, you’ll teach in smaller groups, build meaningful relationships, and support pupils in ways that go far beyond the classroom.

As our English Teacher, you’ll bring learning to life in a way that resonates with each individual pupil. You’ll use your creativity and care to design lessons that inspire curiosity, encourage self-expression, and nurture both academic and personal growth.

Working alongside our senior leadership and specialist staff, you'll help every learner take steps forward — whether that's reading their first paragraph, or finding their own voice for the first time.

Who we are looking for
  • A degree in English or a related subject
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE

  • Experience of working with diverse learning needs and / or in a SEN environment
