Role specifics – Immediate start until July 2026. £80 - £100 per day. Working at an ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Wolverhampton with English academic support across KS3 and KS4.
You’ll work with the English department to close gaps and raise attainment. You’ll lead short intervention groups, provide 1:1 tutoring, and reinforce reading, writing, and analysis. You’ll help prepare resources, support revision and exam technique, and track simple progress notes to inform next steps.
You hold a degree (English or related preferred), explain ideas clearly, and build rapport quickly with learners. You’re organised, proactive, and motivated to move into teacher training after a successful year in school.
