We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join us at our Severnside Dairy.

As an Engineering Technician, you'll provide safe, front-line reactive maintenance, identify root causes, and restore equipment quickly, while seeking cost-effective improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Location: Severnside

Contract: Permanent, 4 on 4 off (2 days & 2 nights, 7 am - 7 pm)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure effective shift handovers
  • Support prioritization and problem solving using PMS (RCFA)
  • Diagnose faults, test, repair, and maintain Mechanical/Electrical equipment
  • Report defects and symptoms of failure, provide CMMS data
  • Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for technical support and parts
  • Lead shift-based problem solving
  • Collaborate with First Line Response Technicians
  • Coach operators in asset care tasks
  • Identify and implement improvements
  • Address lifecycle issues with recommendations
  • Utilize 5WHY and RCA techniques for long-term fixes
  • Support 5S programs in workshops and stores
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Recognized apprenticeship
  • Maintenance experience in manufacturing
  • Mechanical/Electrical bias
  • ONC/HNC qualification
  • IOSHH/Nebosh (desirable)
  • Electrical qualification
  • Multiskilled engineer experience

Note: This is a rotating shift role (2 days, 2 nights).
