Qualifications

• Previous experience in Building Services, ideally with an approved apprenticeship.
• Formal qualification in electrical or mechanical fields.
• Experience managing contractors and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with the Account Manager and ensure efficient building system operations.
• Act as the Duty Authorised Person and issue site Permits.
• Complete PPM and reactive tasks, ensuring timely updates.

Skills

Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services

Excellent communication skills

Formal qualification in electrical, mechanical or building services engineering

Experience as an end user of a Building Management Systems

Demonstrable experience of managing contractors

Intermediate computer literacy using Windows Office applications

Self‑motivated and able to work on own initiative

Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

Education

18th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation

Previously LV Authorised Person

C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2 or mechanical equivalent

C&G 2391 – Desirable
