Engineering Manager

Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 plus package

This independent residential developer has been building homes for over 20 years, ranging from luxury detached family homes to city apartments. Due to their continued growth, they are currently seeking an Engineering Manager to be based at their Hertfordshire head office. They are industry leaders in delivering distinctive and diverse new homes primarily in the Northern home counties and London.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Manage and coordinate all engineering information related to current and proposed developments.
2. Prepare Land Acquisition Reports detailing technical issues.
3. Support the Technical and Land Directors with technical and engineering information delivery.
4. Manage engineering information for tender and construction purposes.
5. Oversee the appointment of external companies.
6. Provide technical support and information to internal departments.
7. Negotiate and obtain S38, 104, & 278 approvals and agreements.
8. Participate in external and internal meetings as required.
9. Handle drainage and services issues.

Candidate Profile:

This role is ideal for existing Engineers or Engineering Managers working within developers or contractors, or senior Engineers in consultancies working closely with residential developers.

Candidates should have experience with technical aspects of house building, Civil Engineering, and Building Regulations, with a good understanding of Highway and Sewer standards and processes.
