Energy Property Lawyer (3-6years')

A leading international law firm is seeking a talented Energy Property Lawyer to join its specialist team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value projects within the renewable energy sector, contributing to some of the most significant developments in Scotland.

The Role:
You will play a key role in advising clients on all aspects of property law relating to energy projects, including wind, solar, hydro and battery storage developments. This position offers the chance to work on major infrastructure projects from inception through to completion, engaging with developers, investors and landowners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on site acquisitions, leases, servitudes and options agreements
  • Managing property aspects of large-scale renewable energy transactions
  • Providing strategic input on planning, consenting and due diligence matters
  • Collaborating with colleagues in planning, environmental and corporate teams to deliver seamless client service

About You:

  • 3-6 years’ PQE with a strong background in property law
  • Experience in energy property law is essential
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions and provide commercial, solutions-focused advice
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
