The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in payroll, a strong understanding of UK legislation, and proficiency in Sage Payroll systems. Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience in a dedicated payroll role, ideally within a multi-entity organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Experience using payroll and HRIS systems, Sage preferred.
  • Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end monthly payroll processing across multiple entities.
  • Management of Sage Payroll and HR systems.
  • Administration of employee benefits including pensions, health insurance, life assurance.
  • Preparation and submission of statutory reporting.
  • Year-end processing including P60s and P45s.
  • Providing clear payroll advice to employees and managers.
  • Reconciliation and resolution of payroll queries.
  • Collaboration with People & Culture team on new starters and leavers.
