An excellent opportunity has arisen for a newly or recently qualified Solicitor to join my clients Employment Team in their Leeds offices on a hybrid basis.

My client's firm is dynamic, forward-thinking and puts expertise and client service at the forefront of everything it does. That's why my client are trusted by some of the largest trade unions and associations in the country.

Following a thorough onboarding process, the successful candidate will have their own caseload involving advising on and pursuing employment and industrial relations issues in the tribunals and courts for trade union and professional association members, as well as private individual clients.

Your caseload will cover a variety of business sectors across a range of industries including rail/transport, manufacturing, education, health, public sector, sport and the music industry, and you will be dealing with clients at all levels of seniority.

There are excellent prospects for career progression in this role, and you will receive regular training to ensure you thrive and achieve your own personal and professional development goals, as well as keeping you fully aware of changes and updates to regulations and best practise.

Requirements
  • Successful applicants should be NQ upwards (or equivalent experience) who has experience of working in the employment sector.
  • You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be confident dealing with people at all levels of seniority internally and externally.

  • Although training will be provided, we are looking for someone with excellent technical experience, preferably gained at a leading firm.
