Senior Associate - Employment Law (6-8 PQE) - Cardiff

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate with 6-8 years' PQE to join a top-tier employment law team in Cardiff. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of employment matters, with a particular focus on global mobility.

The Role:

As a Senior Associate in the Employment team, you will provide high-quality advice across a wide range of employment law matters, with a special emphasis on global mobility issues. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on international employment matters, including relocation, immigration, and compliance with tax and employment regulations for employees moving across borders.
  • Managing a diverse caseload of employment law issues, ranging from employee relations and discrimination matters to high-level advisory work.
  • Working closely with senior associates and partners on complex employment cases and projects.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior associates, trainees, and paralegals.
  • Contributing to business development and client relationship management, helping to grow the firm's employment practice.


Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in employment law, with a solid understanding of international employment law and global mobility.
  • Strong technical expertise in employment law, with experience in relocation, immigration, and tax-related matters.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to provide clear, commercial advice.
  • A proactive, business development-driven mindset with a track record of building client relationships.
  • A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients, and experience supervising junior team members.
