Location : Office-based (Chester), with hybrid working available depending on experience.

Hours : Full-time, Monday to Friday.

Salary : Up to £45,000 based on experience.

Role Summary

This role involves advising clients on a broad range of employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious. The successful candidate will manage their own client base and caseload, with responsibilities including :

  • Providing day-to-day employment law advice to employers
  • Managing client relationships and delivering tailored, commercially focused advice
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, staff handbooks, and day-to-day HR documentation, including disciplinary and grievance correspondence
  • Advising on TUPE, redundancy, discrimination, unfair dismissal, and general employee relations matters
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Employment Law Consultant, HR Consultant with strong employment law expertise, or similar advisory role
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercially minded, with a practical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and work to deadlines
