JOB TITLE: Employment Fee Earner
PQE REQUIRED: 2+

THE ROLE

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, acting for both employers and employees with minimal supervision. The role will include advising on a wide range of employment law matters including contracts, policies and procedures as well as handling contentious matters such as unfair dismissal, discrimination and redundancy claims, drafting and negotiating settlement agreements, providing day to day employment law advice to clients and managing matters through the ACAS early conciliation and Employment Tribunal process, whilst ensuring files are progressed efficiently in line with regulatory and compliance requirements and maintaining high standards of client care and contributing to the development of the department.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or an experienced Employment Fee Earner. You will have proven experience handling employment law matters independently and be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge of employment legislation and case law. Excellent communication, negotiation and client care skills are essential. The candidate will be well organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines, whilst being proactive, professional and able to work effectively within a team. Experience in Employment Tribunal advocacy and familiarity with case management systems would be advantageous.
