Job Description
We’re looking for an Employee Experience & Engagement Manager to join our People team and help us create a workplace where collaboration thrives, our culture comes alive, and our people feel genuinely connected - no matter where they’re working from. This is a role for someone who loves the intersection of culture, experience design, and organisational behavior. You’ll have the opportunity to tackle some of our most exciting challenges: reimagining how we collaborate across departments, shaping our hybrid work approach as we open two new campuses this year, and making our values more than words on a wall. Working as an independent contributor and reporting into our Chief People officer within our broader People team, you’ll partner across the organization to design programs, rituals, and experiences that bring people together and make our culture tangible in everyday work life.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in employee experience, culture, organisational development, internal communications, or related people-focused roles
- Collaboration catalyst: You know how to bring people together, build bridges between teams, and create the conditions for better cross-functional working
- Design thinking: You approach problems with creativity and empathy, and you’re skilled at designing programs and experiences that actually resonate with people
- Change agent mindset: You’re comfortable challenging the status quo and have the influence skills to bring people along on the journey
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Diagnose barriers to effective collaboration across departments and design interventions, programs, and ways of working that break down silos and improve how teams work together globally
- Hybrid work expertise: You understand the nuances of creating culture and connection in hybrid environments and have ideas about how physical and virtual spaces can work together
- Program management: You can take concepts from idea to execution, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously with attention to detail and impact
- Communication skills: You’re a strong writer and storyteller who can craft compelling messages and bring culture to life through words and actions
- Global mindset: You can design programs that work across different locations, time zones, and cultural contexts while maintaining consistency
- Independent operator: You work autonomously, take initiative, and drive projects forward while collaborating effectively with colleagues across the People team
- Data-informed: You use both qualitative and quantitative insights to understand employee sentiment and measure the impact of your work
Nice to Have
- Experience in B2B/B2C tech companies or fast-growth scale-ups
- Background in change management or organizational development
- Familiarity with Lattice as an employee survey and recognition platform
Job Responsibilities
- Hybrid Work Strategy: Lead the evolution of our hybrid work approach, creating frameworks and practices that balance flexibility with connection. Influence how we use our physical spaces as we open two new campuses, ensuring they’re designed to foster collaboration and reflect our culture
- Employee Listening & Surveys: Own the design, deployment, and analysis of employee surveys (pulse checks, engagement surveys, etc.), turning insights into actionable recommendations and closing the feedback loop with the organization
- Recognition & Celebration: Revitalise and enhance our recognition programs, creating moments and mechanisms that celebrate wins, reinforce our values, and get people genuinely excited about acknowledging great work
- Culture Activation: Take our established values and culture framework and make them visible, real, and lived - designing rituals, programs, and touchpoints that embed culture into daily experiences
- Internal Communications Support: Contribute to people-focused communications, including shaping messages and content for all-company meetings and moments that matter (this isn’t about senior leadership comms, but the broader employee narrative)
- Employee Listening & Insight: Use feedback, data, and direct conversations to understand what’s working and what’s not in the employee experience, then translate insights into action
- Experience Design: Think holistically about the employee journey - from onboarding through everyday moments - and create experiences that are inclusive, engaging, and aligned with how we want to work
