A local support service is looking for two support workers in Crowborough to assist an individual in managing their home and personal care needs. The position offers flexible hours totaling 7.5 hours per week, with compensation dependent on experience. Candidates must be patient, reliable, and possess good interpersonal skills. The role involves medication administration, personal grooming support, cooking, and help with household management. I am looking for 2 support workers to support me in my own home. I live in Crowborough with my very supportive husband and children. I have 7.5 hours per week available and am happy to split the hours between 2 workers. Ideally, I would like to be supported from 3.15pm and 6.30pm twice per week, but I am flexible with this timetable. I keep 1 hour per week available for appointments.
I need to support maintaining a habitable home environment I can manage some light household chores. I have limited standing tolerance due to my Lupus, and Fibromyalgia; I have difficulties with carrying, lifting, and bending. I can experience acute fatigue and discomfort including muscle stiffness which occurs when I wake up in the morning. Support needed with cooking cleaning and help to manage the household including help with admin tasks, emails, letters and keeping medical portfolio up to date. These tasks can be discussed further at interview.
