A leading healthcare provider in Southampton is seeking a reliable Night Receptionist to provide clerical support within the Emergency Department. The role involves registering patients, managing admissions, and ensuring smooth operations during night shifts. Candidates should have strong attention to detail and previous clerical experience. This position requires working overnight hours including public holidays. The Emergency department is looking for a night receptionist to offer clerical support within the Emergency Department reception area to ensure smooth operation of its service. The shift time is overnight which is 22:00-08:00 and this includes all public holidays.
The Emergency Department (ED) currently has over 44,000 new attendances each year. The department consists of reception area, triage, Majors area, Minors area, Pediatric cubicles, 3 bay Resuscitation room and a Clinical Decision Unit under the ED Management Team.
