Job description
About the Role

We are looking for a Europe Intelligence Analyst to join us in an embedded role for our global construction client. You will be based in the clients Anticipation & Analysis security team and contributing to international geopolitical and security analysis risk assessments and advisory services.

You will be responsible for providing tailored tactical and strategic intelligence analysis and consulting to the client as part of a tight‑knit team. You will be monitoring, analysing and advising the client on adverse developments in Europe that could affect the safety, security, operational continuity and reputation of the business. Such developments include but are not limited to political instability and unrest, crime, terrorism, governance risks and cyber threats.

This is a fully remote role working core hours Monday to Friday with occasional out‑of‑hours work for emergencies and time‑sensitive matters.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor online sources to gather and analyse information that could impact the clients people, assets, operations and reputation in Europe
  • Utilise all available resources – including open sources and vendor feeds – to create tailored, high‑impact actionable insights and recommendations
  • Deliver regular intelligence products to forecast tactical and strategic risks in key locations and provide ad hoc geopolitical analysis in response to world events
  • Brief executives as needed on key developments, trends and content
  • Provide situational updates to senior stakeholders during incidents / crises
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Support the clients security team in producing and editing a range of regular and ad hoc products including Threat and Risk Assessment Reviews
  • Support with due diligence investigations as required
Requirements
  • Experience, knowledge and interest in current affairs, international relations and emerging security threats with expertise in political and security dynamics in Europe, including Central Europe, Romania and Moldova
  • Experience working in a corporate security setting
  • Ability to research and sift through large amounts of information to produce concise, insightful and actionable analysis and insights in accordance with tight deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple scheduled tasks, requests and sources of information in an organised way and under minimal guidance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent English written and spoken communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and interpersonal abilities
  • Deep interest and broad understanding of world affairs
  • Regional language skills (French and/or German)
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
Nice to have
  • Undergraduate or Postgraduate qualifications in International Security, Intelligence, Risk, Geopolitics or other related disciplines or equivalent professional experience
  • Previous exposure to corporate security teams
  • Experience in due diligence tools and techniques
  • Experience in data analysis and visualisation
Interview process

  • Timed written assessment (arranged at a time that suits you) to test writing and analytical capability
  • Panel interview with some of the team members and hiring managers at Sibylline
