If you thrive on managing multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring successful project delivery, and building strong client relationships, we want to hear from you.

As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale automation and electrical engineering projects. You will be responsible for project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget. This is an opportunity to drive the delivery of cutting-edge solutions across a diverse client base—and make a lasting impact in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, organise, and motivate teams to deliver automation and control projects to client specifications and deadlines.
  2. Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
  3. Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes to ensure successful project outcomes.
  4. Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Prepare and present regular project progress reports, facilitating project meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
  6. Drive project quality through compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
  7. Support the development of junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices in project management.
  8. Significant experience managing engineering, automation, or control systems projects, ideally within industrial sectors.
  9. Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management abilities with a people-centric and collaborative approach.
  10. Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specifications.
  11. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  12. Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage contracts, procurement, and project finances.
  13. Proficient in project management methodologies (such as Prince2, PMBOK, or Agile) and use of project planning and reporting tools.
  14. Relevant degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
  15. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
  16. Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
