A leading energy organization based in Oxford seeks an Electronics Workshop Team Leader to manage workshop activities and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include overseeing staff, promoting services, and maintaining safety standards while required qualifications include an honours degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience. Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of electronic systems repair are essential. The role offers a full-time position with no remote work option.
The salary for this role is 56596 (inclusive of a Specialist Allowance). Onsite working is expected for 5 days each week; however we actively support requests for flexible working. This role is based at the following site: Culham, Oxfordshire. It requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data. The Electronics Workshop Team supports UKAEA projects by building, testing and repairing electronic assemblies and control systems. We work with a wide range of electrical and electronic technologies helping to keep equipment across the Culham site running smoothly. We’re looking for an Electronics Workshop Team Leader to manage our people. The role involves planning and coordinating workshop activities, assigning work to technicians, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You’ll also work closely with customers, advising on the best ways to build or repair equipment and ensuring every job is delivered to a high standard.
