Joining date: 21/January/2026, Contract 6 months +/-1 - cruise vessel MARELLA EXPLORER 2
Reporting line: Chief Electrician
Direct reports: None
Department: Engine
Qualifications: as per C601D (Marella Cruises) Training & Certification Matrix
Required valid C1D visa

Main responsibilities
  • Performing electrical maintenance, repairs, and managing spares for various equipment including navigational systems, internal communication systems, external communication systems, CCTV systems, access control systems, etc.
  • Utilising ShipSure for equipment maintenance (PMS) and spares ordering (procurement)
  • Maintaining the working area clean, safe, and handling tools and equipment with care
  • Participating in emergency drills and responding to actual emergencies as per the Muster List
  • Adhering to all safety regulations and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during work activities
  • Adhering to and complying with all company policies and procedures, manuals and directives
  • Performing duties and tasks according to above but not limited to that.
Responsibilities
  • Attend passenger social events as directed by the Head of Department.
  • Partake in inspections, trainings and meetings as directed by the Head of Department.
  • Other shipboard tasks pertaining to departmental operations as directed by Head of Department.
  • Attending trainings and office visits arranged by V.Ships Leisure where possible
