Job description

Overview:
Join a dedicated engineering team supporting the testing and diagnostics of electronic and electrical sub-systems and circuit cards during the production phase. You'll provide technical support to manufacturing test operations, ensuring targets are met for time, cost, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide test engineering support to shopfloor operators, including new test equipment introduction.
  • Test and diagnose complex electronic/electrical systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit cards down to component level.
  • Generate test specifications, operator instructions, and technical reports.
  • Identify and implement remedial actions following production test failures.
  • Liaise with Quality and Operations teams to report on test engineering actions and investigations.
  • HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electronic/Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of digital and analogue measurement and test principles, with hands-on experience in fault diagnosis to component level.
  • Experience with manual and automated test equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation and reports.
  • Organised, with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of RF and microwave technology at subsystem/system level.
  • Experience with high voltage systems and awareness of CADMID product lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with SAP and MS Office for technical reporting.
