Overview

Electronics Operative

Location: Salford

Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 2:30pm / Friday 6:00am - 11:30am

Pay: £14.88 per hour (rising to £15.40 after 12 weeks)

Contract: Long-Term Temporary (Permanent Opportunity for the Right Candidate)

Are you a hands-on individual with a strong background in manufacturing or engineering? Do you have a keen eye for detail and experience in soldering and electronics assembly? We are currently recruiting an Electronics Operative to join our client’s team!

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform “hands-on” operational tasks to maintain and build core technical skills.
  • Apply your experience in soldering and electronics assembly to deliver consistent product quality.
  • Promote and actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Assist in developing the team’s knowledge and skills; support training of new and existing colleagues.
  • Meet daily production and standard work requirements efficiently and accurately.
  • Take part in change initiatives, supporting company targets for improvement and productivity.
  • Remain flexible to work and train across different areas of the business as needed.
  • Be adaptable and open to change in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
