Qualifications

• Ideally educated to degree level within a relevant technical subject such as Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience with CAD for electronic circuits design.
• Competence in advanced electronic & electrical design measurement.
• Able to lead others effectively at all levels.
• Skilled in designing electronic circuits and PCB layouts.
• Proficient in structured root cause analysis.
• Understanding and experience of firmware and software.
• Experience with SMT/PCBA and AOI related machines.

Responsibilities

• Leading a small team to meet departmental objectives and provide technical support.
• Delivery of new products, processes, and equipment into manufacturing.
• Design and document automated test processes.
• Develop data acquisition for test and manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Resolve high-priority issues with suppliers and engineering teams.
• Provide design inputs for project development.
• Fault finding and repair of precision electronic PCBAs.
• Maintain high quality documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement activities.

Skills

Degree in Electronics or related engineering discipline

CAD experience for electronic circuit design

Advanced electronics design competence

Leadership skills
