Due to growth in company output, there is a need for a new Programme Manager with a Mechanical Engineering background. Based in Cambridge, you will lead several projects. Some projects will involve supporting and mentoring junior staff, while others will require you to handle mechanical design aspects yourself.

We seek someone with hands-on experience developing new Medical Devices technologies in their current role, particularly in electro-mechanical Medical Devices such as implantable devices, wearable tech, or other technologies compliant with EN60601 standards.

Applicants should hold a relevant degree in a suitable subject leading to a Medical Devices Mechanical Engineering role. A master's or PhD is advantageous but not essential; industry experience is more important.

The technologies you will develop are lifesaving and life-improving medical devices, industry-disrupting innovations that will impact thousands of lives.

This role involves working with external and internal stakeholders, requiring strong communication skills, both virtual and in person. Experience in communicating project updates and changes is beneficial.

Knowledge of EN60601 is mentioned, but a strong understanding of ISO 13485 is essential.

Successful candidates often have a highly technical hobby, such as building drones, tinkering with engines, or programming. Highlight such hobbies on your CV to improve your chances of securing an interview.

In addition to working on groundbreaking technologies, you will receive a proven career development plan, ongoing training, a competitive salary, bonus, enhanced pension, medical insurance, free meals, and other benefits typical of a multinational blue-chip organization.

Interest in this role is expected to be high, so apply now or ensure your application is considered.
