A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Electronic Hardware Engineer to design and develop hardware in an R&D environment. This contract role pays £55 per hour and requires 5-10 years of experience. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in developing robust test methodologies and programming in Assembler and C. Electronic Hardware Engineer — £55 per hour outside IR35 — Leicestershire — 12 month contract

Responsibilities

• Design electronic hardware from inception to completion in an R&D/prototyping environment
• Build test rigs and develop robust test methodologies prior to release to production
• Compile test schedules for R&D products

Requirements

• At least 5-10 years experience as an Embedded Electronic Hardware Engineer
• Ability to program using Assembler and C
• Proven experience designing electronic hardware from inception to completion in an R&D/prototyping environment
• Experience in building test schedules for R&D products
• Experience in building test rigs to ensure products are tested to a robust test methodology prior to releasing to production for build
