Overview

Meetings with wayleaves/estates specialist to obtain 3rd party agreements for NGED assets. Financially review and close projects. Communicate with customers effectively to manage expectations and resolve queries. Schedule contracted works. Communicate with local authorities and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Be hands-on and customer focused, managing multiple projects at the same time, including the design, costing and quoting of existing and new electricity network assets.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver new services/alterations/small capital projects.
  • Carry out onsite work as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • You understand customers and their needs; strong communication skills are key to solving problems and explaining issues clearly.
  • You will be in control of your diary, so you should be resilient, organised and able to prioritise your workload.
  • Team players thrive in this role, and experience using iPads and excellent IT skills are a must.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential as there is significant travel involved; standby duties may be required.
  • You may not possess all the skills required to carry out the role at present, but you will have the confidence and ability to reach the necessary standards with appropriate training.
  • If not already attained you will be required to undertake a Level 2 City & Guilds 2339 qualification and complete TAR, which includes daily diary completion and a number of tasks and reports as required.
