Qualifications

  • Ability to manage work independently.

Job description
Role Purpose

Due to continued growth throughout AMP8, Bridges will be continually hiring approved electricians to work on our water industry projects across Southern Water and Thames Water sites.

Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.

The Role

This is a permanent opportunity.

Contracted to 40 hours per week on-site hours Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid.

Paid for all travel time door to door.

This role will involve working as a team of electricians working on many industrial and water industry programmes of work.

Travel across the Southern Water and Greater London area will be expected.

  • ECS gold card (essential)
  • Experience as an Electrician or electrical improver
  • Able to manage own workload
  • Fitness to work medical (can be completed upon commencement of employment)
  • Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
  • EUSR water hygiene
  • Thames water passport
  • Inspection and testing medical
  • PASMA / IPAF / Confined space
  • COMPEX
  • Industrial and/or panel wiring experience.
