Salary: £45,480.78 per annum

We're seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician on behalf of a well-established housing association recognised for service excellence. In this role, you'll carry out electrical repairs directly in resident's homes, helping to ensure their properties remain safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained. Your work will directly support the community and contribute to delivering a reliable, high‑standard service that residents can count on.

Responsibilities
  • Perform responsive maintenance, cyclical works, refurbishment projects, void property repairs, and home servicing to keep homes safe, comfortable, and in good condition.
  • Use a personal digital assistant (PDA) or similar device to manage work schedules, document progress, and maintain accurate job records.
  • Diagnose electrical faults effectively, determine the most suitable and value‑driven repair solutions, and arrange materials as needed.
  • Complete all tasks to a high standard while meeting company expectations, building regulations, and legal compliance.
  • Offer a responsive, respectful, and customer‑focused approach that enhances the resident experience.
  • Take part in a rotational on‑call schedule to assist with emergency repairs outside of normal working hours.
