Job description

The Role

This is a hands‑on testing role, ensuring every unit that leaves the facility meets the highest standards. You’ll be working on cutting‑edge electrical systems used in safety‑critical environments, from component level to complete suite testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing on AC / DC switchgear and panels
• Validate emergency shutdown systems and PLC‑based controls
• Conduct insulation resistance, performance, and power frequency testing
• Ensure compliance with technical specs and industry standards
• Generate reports and recommend corrective actions
• Support type testing and external certification processes
• Contribute to maintenance planning and technical investigations
• Maintain ISO 9001 documentation and QA processes

The Candidate

Essential

• Level 2 / 3 qualification in an electrical discipline
• Experience testing three‑phase systems and interpreting electrical drawings
• Strong knowledge of fault finding, diagnostics, and safety standards

Desirable

• Level 4 / 5 qualification or Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 18th Edition, ECITB TEM06, or relevant industry certifications
• PLC systems experience
