Intro

A leading industrial organisation is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of a busy gas storage plant. This role focuses on electrical and instrumentation maintenance, fault-finding and ensuring plant availability.

The Role

• Planned & reactive maintenance on LV electrical systems, motors, panels and control equipment
• Instrumentation and control system support (PLC I/O, signals, instrumentation faults)
• ATEX/CompEx equipment inspection and replacement
• Updating CMMS work orders
• Supporting call-outs when required (paid at enhanced rates)
• Assisting with installations, commissioning and contractor oversight

What You'll Need

• Strong electrical maintenance background (5+ years)
• NVQ Level 3 and apprenticeship or equivalent gained in a heavy process or industrial environment
• Some knowledge of instrumentation & control systems
• Experience with HV electrical maintenance would be an advantage
• Industrial/process or hazardous-area experience
