Job Overview

Job Role: Electrical Supervisor

Location: HMP Hollesley Bay

Salary: £44,177.30 per annum +5% additional for recognition of weekend working

Contract: Permanent, full time - 39 hours per week, Monday to Sunday

We are seeking an NVQ level 3 qualified Electrician with experience leading teams to join our team at HMP Hollesley Bay, a category D Adult/Male prison.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Five years' experience as an electrician or equivalent
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical, building services
  • Experience of supervising staff
  • Full driving licence preferably with D1
  • C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
  • Certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements For Electrical Installations (17th or 18th Edition)
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
