Job description
Overview

You\'ll be responsible for all electrical site activities in partnership with the Construction Manager and Principle Electrical Engineer.

Responsibilities
  • Assessing and sign off of subcontractor RAMS
  • Monitoring quality and the standards of work on site, throughout the full duration of the project, completing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP\'s) and QA related company standard Pro-Formas
  • Supervising all electrical subcontractors day to day activities, monitoring progress in line with programme and dealing with day to day site issues, snagging and reviewing quality of installations
  • Inputting into weekly site progress reports
  • Assessing buildability of the installation design and providing proactive solutions where required
  • Assessing Compensation Events / Variations and checking measured works to assist quantity surveyors against subcontractors applications
  • Co-ordination and close liaison with other trades where necessary
  • Proven experience in supervising turnkey projects within your expertise of electrical works
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to assess and spot check electrical test certificates
  • Client focused and able to establish good working relationships
  • Proactive and \'can do\' attitude to towards progressing the works and completing in line with programme
  • Ability to manage subcontractors on both small and large scale projects
  • HNC or other Industry Recognised Electrical Qualifications
