Job summary

A leading engineering company in the UK is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Engineer. In this role, you will service and repair electrical systems on specialist railway machinery. Candidates should have a bias in electrical/electronic systems with a minimum of 3 years’ experience and a full UK driving licence. Overview

We are hiring an Electrical Service Engineer. Location: West Ealing - West London. Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 + progression. Hours: 37 hrs/week + overtime. This is a permanent role with excellent career progression, working on specialist railway machinery and equipment.

What You’ll Do
  • Service, repair and commission electrical/electronic systems on their machines
  • Diagnose faults and carry out modifications
  • Work on hydraulics and pneumatics as part of repairs
  • Keep accurate records and support other teams when needed
  • Travel across the UK (occasional overseas work)
What We’re Looking For
  • Electrical/electronic bias with minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Hands-on apprenticeship or equivalent engineering experience
  • Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Able to pass PTS Medical & Drugs/Alcohol test
  • Desirable: NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in electrical engineering, plant or railway machinery experience, computer literacy.
