A construction services provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical installation package on a significant development in Hackney. You will oversee the installation across 120 apartments and 16 commercial units, ensuring safety and adherence to regulations. The ideal candidate has proven project management skills and a strong understanding of electrical practices. This role offers a competitive daily rate between £400 - £425.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on residential and/or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job description

Electrical Project Manager required. We're seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical installation package on a large mixed-use development in Hackney. The successful candidate will take ownership of the electrical works across 120 new-build apartments and 16 commercial units, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all electrical installation works across the project
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, site procedures, and industry standards
• Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and progress
• Liaise with main contractors, site management, consultants, and suppliers
• Monitor programme schedules
• Conduct quality checks, inspections, and ensure all documentation is up to date
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management

Qualifications

• Poven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on residential and/or commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices and regulations
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractor teams effectively
• ECS/CSCS, SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

Our client is looking to pay £400 - £425 per day
