Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a 6-month temporary position based in Hounslow. The role involves reactive and preventative maintenance within the FMCG sector. Candidates should have an electrical engineering qualification and previous experience in a similar industrial setting. Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FMCG (Hounslow)

Based in Hounslow – 6 months Temp to Perm. Three shift pattern: 6am/2pm, 2pm/10pm, 10pm/6am. Salary: £40-45k per annum.

Responsibilities
  • Reactive maintenance – fault finding and replacement of components on machines.
  • Preventative maintenance.
  • Electrical troubleshooting – PLCs, sensors, relays, proximities, contactors, single‑phase, three‑phase, E‑stops.
  • Coverage of three floors.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous electrical experience in an industrial site (manufacturing, logistics, FMCG).
  • Electrical engineering qualification.
  • Ability to fault find and repair a wide range of electrical components.
  • Experience with Siemens PLCs (interrogation and fault resolution).
  • Physically fit.
