Qualifications

Join the world's leading manufacturer in their field, based in North Wales. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to enhance our Engineering Department. This role involves maintaining and improving our high-performance production facility, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Day-to-day of the role
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities to minimise downtime.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to production breakdowns and technical faults.
  • Perform repairs, servicing, and overhauls on a wide range of mechanical and electrical machinery.
  • Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and new equipment installations.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to maintain high standards of safety and output.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a process or production environment, ideally involving packaging machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of Planned Preventative Maintenance systems.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience with industrial electrical installations.
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for overtime and occasional weekend work.
  • Shift Patterns (alternating):
    • Week One 07.00 - 19.00 Monday to Thursday,
    • Week Two 07.00 - 17.30 Monday to Thursday and 07.00 - 13.00 Friday.
