A social care organization is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with electrical regulations while working with a professional team dedicated to managing electrical services across numerous residential buildings in London. Candidates must possess significant experience in the electrical industry, technical report writing skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders. Our Client Islington Council is looking for an experienced Electrical Inspector to join their Service urgently.
This role requires significant experience within the electrical technical industry and strong commercial aptitude and professional standing, as well as the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
For the electrical compliance aspect, applicants must have a solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards within the electrical industry.
You should also be able to demonstrate that you have maintained your Continued Professional Development (CPD). As the electrical inspector you will be joining a robust and professional team of electrical engineers working in the residential social housing sector responsible for cyclical replacement of electrical services to a building stock of approx. 2,500 residential block buildings to over 35,000 dwellings and homes – including over 200 high‑rise buildings.
You'll join a team of highly skilled Building Services professionals. You must be computer literate and have experience in producing technical reports that can be shared with the wider team. You must have experience working in electrical contracting or consultancy demonstrating skill and knowledge relevant to the electrical social housing sector.
