Electrical Improver

We are seeking an Electrical Improver to join our Electrical Contracting clients. The role will be based in London and comes with a salary of £13 per hour. This role offers a clear pathway for career progression, with the potential to advance into a fully qualified Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer position.

Responsibilities for an Electrical Improver
  • Assist with electrical installation, maintenance, and inspection tasks under supervision
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards
  • Work collaboratively with assigned Electrical Engineers and team members
  • Communicate professionally with residents, clients, and colleagues
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
  • Participate in training and development initiatives
  • Carry out additional duties as reasonably assigned by management
Requirements for an Electrical Improver
  • Prior experience in the electrical industry
  • Strong teamwork and practical skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Effective communication and time management
  • City & Guilds Level 2 Electrotechnical Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Must provide own hand tools and battery-powered equipment
  • All other necessary tools and equipment will be supplied
  • Travel to job sites required—via personal transport, public transport, or company vehicle
  • Daily travel allowance provided
