Overview

Position: Electrical Field Service Engineer

Location: Ideally based West Midlands or North West

Salary: £40k basic (OTE £55k-£59k) + Car + Car Fuel

The Company/ Sector: Machine Tools

Responsibilities

• To carry out the service, repair and installation of high specification 5 axis horizontal and vertical machine tools.
• Travel through-out the UK and may involve short trips abroad.

Requirements

• Able to fault find, diagnose and correct errors on 5 axis CNC Machine tools.
• Be conversant with Siemens 840D Control systems and able to interrogate control software.
• Be able to interrogate PLC programs using Siemens' S7
• Preferably time served engineer.
• Able to work on own initiative with good communication skills.
• Previous experience with either a Machine tool builder or the maintenance in industry.
• Advantage to have worked in a service environment.
• Working away from home for short periods of time.
