Job summary

A leading MEICA specialist in the UK is seeking an Electrical Estimator to prepare tenders and estimates for projects, primarily in the Water Treatment sector. The ideal candidate will possess an Electrical qualification and experience in utilities or infrastructure projects. This position offers a basic salary of £60k-£70k plus benefits including a car allowance and medical coverage.

Job description

We’re urgently seeking an Electrical Estimator to join a leading MEICA specialist that primarily focuses on the Water Treatment sector, delivering a range of projects & capital works frameworks across the UK.

The company has long established relationships with the likes of Severn Trent Water, Southern Water, Wessex Water & Thames Water and is one of their "go‑to" specialists for M & E and Instrumentation works.

Working with a range of Principal Contractors & clients you will be preparing robust tenders and estimates.

Based out of an office near Leatherhead, and from home, you may be required to undertake site surveys in some cases to get a better understanding of the client’s requirements before preparing proposals.

With an Electrical qualification, the successful candidate will have worked within utilities or infrastructure projects and will be capable of developing and preparing robust estimates and proposals.

The successful candidate could already be an Electrical Estimator, or alternatively an Electrical Engineer looking to move into estimating.
