About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Trainer with a strong foundation in Renewable Energy Systems and Basic Electrical Engineering Concepts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and the technical expertise to design, develop and deliver engaging training programs across engineering design and industrial systems domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver comprehensive training programs in engineering design, systems integration and industrial security for diverse audiences from beginners to advanced professionals.
• Translate complex engineering and technical standards into clear, concise and engaging training materials including presentations, case studies and hands‑on exercises.
• Conduct interactive workshops and seminars both in‑person and virtually ensuring high participant engagement and understanding.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in industrial technology, automation, renewable energy and engineering tools, integrating them into course content.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to trainees, addressing technical queries and simplifying challenging engineering concepts.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback assessments and performance metrics to enhance program quality continuously.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify specific skill gaps and customize training solutions accordingly.

Requirements

• Must be a UK resident with a valid work permit.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of professional engineering experience with practical application of engineering principles.
• 3 years of proven experience in a training or instructional role with a track record of designing and delivering effective technical training programs.
• Advanced knowledge of industry standards and their practical implementation.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and public speaking skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to diverse learning styles.
• Open to constructive feedback and committed to continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Renewable Energy Systems or Sustainable Engineering Projects.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and other engineering design tools.
• Familiarity with Information Security risks and threats in electrical and industrial systems.
