Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join the team located in Dunfermline, Bristol, and Derby.

The purpose of the role is to carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building plant, equipment, and systems, undertake small installation works, and respond to site engineering emergencies.

Key Tasks

  1. Ensure routine maintenance is carried out on all electrical and mechanical systems to meet and exceed expectations and service level agreements.
  2. Perform reactive repairs on systems as required, coordinating with relevant sub-contractors.
  3. Conduct all PPM maintenance as per instructions within Concept.
  4. Report all PPM defects via client defect process and liaise with the supervisor regarding defect requirements.
  5. Update weekly equipment reports with any changes in equipment status.
  6. Liaise with sub-contractors for repairs and quotations, monitor their performance, and ensure work quality and site cleanliness.
  7. Sign off completed PPM and reactive tasks via PDA in line with policies and procedures.
  8. Maintain a professional image of CBRE, delivering excellent customer service.
  9. Establish and maintain good relationships with client representatives and personnel.
  10. Ensure a safe and healthy working environment, complying with all policies and procedures.
  11. Maintain accurate site logs and paperwork.
  12. Participate in call-out rota if applicable.
  13. Understand and maintain all on-site systems.
  14. Collaborate with other trade engineers to resolve electrical issues within SLA.

Person Specification

Skills

  • Good basic education, with proficiency in written and spoken English and basic math skills.
  • Recognized Electrical Qualification.
  • C&G 18th Edition in Electrical Installations.
  • C&G Test and Inspection certification.

Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of various building electrical systems and PPM regimes.
  • Current knowledge of relevant BS standards related to electrical systems on site (e.g., Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm, Power, BMS).
