We’re looking for a highly capable Electrical CAD Designer to support our advanced motorsport and high-performance vehicle programmes on an Inside IR35 contract or a 6 month FTC role in our team.

Core Requirements

  • Expert Siemens NX user – 3D harness routing and electrical packaging experience essential.
  • Motorsport or Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) background
  • Proven ability to work within extremely tight packaging tolerances
  • Designing within and around composite enclosures and structures.
  • Familiarity with system 25, motorsport-grade connectors, sensors, and assemblies.

Role Summary:

  • 3D routing of complex wiring looms within confined vehicle packaging spaces.
  • Integration of electrical systems into composite structures.
  • Collaboration with mechanical and electrical teams to resolve clashes and optimise routing.
  • Delivery of robust, lightweight, production-ready CAD data and manufacturing drawings.

  • 6 month contract position, MK based, mostly on-site.

  • Rate dependent on experience.
  • Only candidates with NX and relevant motorsport/SVO experience will be considered.
