Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for a hybrid role in the UK. Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in the building services industry and a degree in Electrical Engineering. The position involves designing electrical systems including Safety and Security Management Systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Attractive hourly rate offered and the role is outside of IR35.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Electrical Design Engineer

Hybrid – 3 days a week in office
40–45 per hour
Outside of IR35

Are you an Electrical Design Engineer who has at least 10+ years experience designing within an building services industry? If so, please read on

Essential Requirements

• 10+ years' experience working as a EC&I Engineer
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, Relux
• Experience in the electrical design of Safety, Security, and Building Management Systems (e.g. alarms, CCTV, access control, ventilation monitoring)
• Single–line diagrams, load/cable schedules, equipment specs
• CAD/Revit markup and coordination
