Job summary

A leading manufacturer in the UK is seeking an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Kirkcaldy. The ideal candidate will ensure the production facility remains operational by performing both reactive and planned maintenance. Applicants should have experience in FMCG and ideally possess qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance and knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. A competitive salary between £40,000 and £45,000 is offered for this secure and stable position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance roles.
• Experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environments.
• Holding or working towards an 18th Edition Qualification is desirable.
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is beneficial.
• Mechanical and electrical experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide reactive and planned preventive maintenance.
• Handle machine breakdowns efficiently.
• Work with sensors, drives, relays, and inverters.
• Maintain conveyors, bearings, belts, and chains.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations on site.

We are looking for a motivated maintenance engineer to join a UK Leading Manufacturer. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.
