  • Promote a Zero Harm culture through visible leadership and behavioural safety initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain EHS improvement plans, incorporating audit findings and risk priorities.
  • Act as the main EHS contact for UK Safety Council meetings and external bodies (HSE, EA, insurers).
  • Support operational management with legal compliance and audit readiness.
  • Plan and implement internal and external audits, including management system and legal compliance.
  • Monitor EHS data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage EHS budgets and contribute to performance plans and strategic projects.
  • Lead EHS team meetings locally, nationally, and regionally to share best practices.
  • Ensure high‑quality incident investigations and timely completion of corrective actions.
  • Communicate legislative changes and corporate standards, ensuring business alignment.
  • Support environmental governance and sustainability initiatives.
What you’ll bring:
  • Strong knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and compliance.
  • Proven experience in an EHS leadership role within manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience managing audits, improvement plans, and EHS budgets.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret EHS data and identify trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
  • Experience in environmental governance and sustainability initiatives.
  • Willingness to attend regional and international meetings as required.
  • Our culture – we connect & care about those around us. We nurture teamwork, communities, partnerships and new ways of working, placing the highest importance on the safety and working environment of our people.
  • Our ‘Road to Sustainability 2030’ is our plan to help build a better, sustainable future. We work towards this vision by caring about our social and environmental impacts and developing innovative solutions.
  • We have a strong conviction that diversity of thinking helps us to deliver a strong and sustainable performance. It is also essential for us that everyone feels part of the team. In this spirit, we are committed to equal opportunities and zero tolerance towards discrimination.
  • Flexibility: For us, hybrid and flexible working is all about trust, and we want you to be able to do your best work (depending on the role).
